Tour Talk - Barron a fall guy for Viking Classic blunder    Back to Topics  Page: 1 of 1

It's not a coincidence that days after the biggest blunder in pga history, letting the Viking Classic be played at a course that does not drain properly that Doug Barron is the first player announced as being suspended on an ill conceived drug policy that puts people with medical conditions at the greatest risk of being violated.

Is there any reason in the world that a player ranked at over 800 would be even tested on the few times he has played other than the pga knew they had a good chance of putting him in violation based on his medical condition?

So now everyone isn't talking about how stupid the pga was for letting the Viking Classic be played at an inadequately designed course, but about Doug Barron being the first player suspended on an equally inadequately designed drug polciy.

So where are all these steroid taking golf professionals that Gary Player is talking about?

If you're going to make someone an outcast, at least tell everyone what he did, so we can judge if the jakas pga is made up of the bunch of fools as it appears.

Not only are they stupid enough to have a tournament at a course that they knew did not drain properly, so now they find someone with known medical problems and give him what amounts to a lifetime ban.

a one year suspension, but also a $500,000 fine, which they will collect from any winnings Barron has. It is doubtful Barron will earn $500,000 any time soon even when the suspension is over, so how is he suppose to live if they take everything he earns.

This is the same clown who starts a thread about Michelle going to PGA Q-school every ten days or so.

"...after the biggest blunder in pga history, letting the Viking Classic be played at a course that does not drain properly..."

You're kidding, right? You think this is the biggest blunder in PGA history? Would that be the PGA, or the PGA Tour?

Nothing like a little bit of hyperbole to get the day started...

BTW. One topic, one thread.

you are clueless with regards to doping!

check the sport of cycling to see how easy it is to abuse the system. Half the elite riders have "asthma", so they can take Salbutomol (Ventolin)

I don't care one bit if they have a medical condition. If they do, get the TUE, or don't be a moron and use one of the many known ways to beat the tests

Dude... How many threads are you going to start about this guy ?? He obviously took some kind of illegal substance that is not allowed by the PGA Tour.

Was it a "big blunder" back in the 1990's when the PGA Tour stop ATT PEBBLE BEACH tournament was cancelled because of many days of rain and the course literally being nothing but mud?

Maybe PEBBLE BEACH was "inadequately designed" so that it did not "drain properly"?

LOL
