Hi. Purchased a new cobra s9-1 pro s on spec. ie. ebay; but the made for shaft (matrix ozik x con 6) is way to stiff for me (barely get the ball off the ground and distance sucks).

I had a brand new Voodoo made for Titleist stiff laying around so I am getting it put in the Cobra and taking the x con out. Any ideas from the shaft experts on what I might expect as to difference in ball flight, distance etc. I know the voodoo should play limper as I have a d3 with this shaft also. The head in the cobra is a 10.5 loft compared to the d3 which was 9.5. I bought the cobra to basically try the 10.5 as I am a low ball hitter.

Doc Holliday, if you happen to read this I'd appreciate your thots as I am the guy you were talking with a few weeks ago on my new revelation in going to a regular flex iron and chucking the stiffs after all these yrs. I also picked up a s9-1 F speed (garbage bin @ Nevada Bob's and too good to pass up) with just the stock Aldila dvs and I was killing the ball with this. My ss was consistently 109, some at 107, topped out at 113. I thought the Ozik would work fine with these numbers but the results were brutal in the actual ball hitting. Thanx.
