Tiger taking the lead would mean he is in 1st place alone - not tied for first. And, Mickelson had a better round - how about giving credit where due?

Oh no, it just seems that lately they seem to show Tiger's accomplishments a bit more often than the rest of the golfers. ;)

I noticed that, too. This year alone, they showed Tiger winning twice as often as Phil. What's up with that?

perhaps it was because after the second round Tiger was in the lead!!! You do understand what that means?

To say that Eldrick "Tiger" Woods is a good golfer would be an understatement, however, he he gets a lot of press even when he plays poorly. You can almost feel the announcers disappointment if he isn't going to win.

Ah, but he wasn't - only tied for the lead. And others had better rounds on the day.

so in your world if you are tied for the lead you don't have a lead? Then who was leading the event at that time?
